‘I started out as a magazine picture editor and music photographer straight out of uni in 2004 (cue misty eyed nostalgia…), before breaking into portraiture and commercial photography. Having travelled all over Europe, shot many of my heroes from stage and screen and worked for clients including Stella Artois, Microsoft, and Interrail, I decided to keep my cameras but temporarily hang up my passport and settle down in Brighton with my partner and best friend of 7 years…. once mortgage deeds were signed, contents insurance purchased and a baby came out, my transition to boring grown up was complete. I reflected this by dropping any pretence of coolness and specialising in wedding and family photography.
In all seriousness, after nearly 10 years shooting weddings professionally, I still find them immensely fulfilling. I’m a people person and I pride myself on really connecting with my couples and their guests and putting everyone at ease – I’m told my images reflect that. It’s a genuine privilege to be part of such a special day and I’ll always work my butt off to earn that.’
